Friendly tuition in small groups

We have a full programme of full and half day workshops, Block of month workshops and our very popular beginner’s course. If you are unsure of the level of experience you will need for each workshop, please talk to us.

Beginners’ courses – a four or five week course to teach you the basics of cutting and piecing.  (£12 a week) Suitable if you have done very little sewing, or if you are new to patchwork and quilting.

Cost:

Full day workshops £30,  Half days and block of the month £15,  Beginners and drop in tutorials £12

£10 deposit payable when booking. This is non refundable, but if you need to cancel you can change to another workshop.

All prices exclusive of materials. Some sewing machines are available to borrow – please arrange when booking.

Times:  Full days are 10am – 4pm. Other workshops are as shown on the programme

As well as the courses listed we can offer private tuition by arrangement – perhaps to help you get to grips with a new sewing  machine, or to give help with a special technique.   We run tutorial sessions for quilters working on their own projects, where we are on hand to offer support and advice (and tea and coffee!) £12 a session. Call us for times.   We welcome browsers and are always happy to answer queries, help you choose fabric, see your finished creations (and borrow them for the window display)……
